bloody_trauma 2 #7 February 17, 2007 well its not like its exactly private or anything, i mean the only advertise it to all of europe... anyways good looking out, whatever.... so yeah this 24 k walk turned out to be about a 40k march, the organizers made it extrememly long on accident. so no one knows exactly how long it was but im ball parking it, due to the fact that the last one i went on was 22 k and that took me 3 hours and this one took me a little over 6 hours with no stops and no load at all so needless to say i am totally fucked up, i have gigantic blisters on my heels and im SEVERELY chafed in between my legs on the inside of my thighs. but im not complaining, it was fun and i got to meet some interesting veterans with some great stories to tell.Fly it like you stole it
popsjumper 2 #8 February 17, 2007 You wimp...try 4K through a swamp, mostly chest deep in muck and mire, fighting mosquitoes and other nasty beasts of the sky...trying to keep your weapon as dry as possible hoping it would work when/if you needed it and gallantly stifling screams to avoid giving your position away when you finally make it to land that is only soggy and have a chance to scrape the leeches off your body. No, not me but it sounded good, eh? My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. elias123 0 #15 February 19, 2007 What are the prices of water and beer? I know that water can be very expensive, in certain cinemas here where I live in Antwerp for example you'll pay at least 2.5 EURO for a bottle, it's really crazy, I believe the cheapest beer U can find is called "cara pils" and it's 50 EUROcents, it tastes like piss tough "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
