There are a -couple- of interesting things there, but easliy 95% of it can be skipped. Seriously. I -highly- suggest going early. Normally the Park opens Main Street 1 hour before the rest of the Park officially opens. My suggestion is to try to arrive at least 1/2 hour before the posted opening time. When you're at the gate, take a second to become familiar with the Fast Pass system. This "reserves" your spot in line for several of the more popular rides. You go to the ride and get a reservation for a time later in the day. So, with this in mind . . . Immediately go pick up a Fast Pass for Indiana Jones, then head over to Tomorrowland and try to hop on Star Tours while the line there is still short. If you get off Star Tours before your reservation for Indiana Jones, then you can immediately hop over to Space Mountain. There are TONS of planning guides on-line that can tell you which rides might be "down for maintenance". Yes, Calfirnia Adventure is small..and there is alot compacted into cramped quarters...it's still a fun place for the little ones. They don't know the difference. There are alot of fun things there for them to do! Be yourself! MooOOooOoo

shermanator 4 #7 February 20, 2007 in Disneyland.. must sees are.. Space Mountain, Indianna Jones, Haunted Mansion, Log Ride Pirates. .. and my personal favorate is the Astro Blasters.. an interactive buzz lightyear ride. there are several others too. If you happen to go on the Mark Twain *big white boat that circles the rivers of america* quickly talk to the cast member about riding in the wheel house. then your kids will be able to drive the boat, and maybe blow the horn/ring the bell. Same kind of thing with the monorail, if ask them nicely, and they are not on a heat index 2 or 3, then you can ride in the very front, with the driver or very back. its really cool. as for DCA, it really is not that great of a park. it's major attractions are Souring, Tower of Terror, Screamin', and Malliboomer. for the kids, there is a fun 4D Bugs show in bugland, and muppets in hollywood. Animations building is ok, can learn how to draw a disney character. kids might really like that. oh, and the monsters inc ride, its ok. as for eating, you are better off bringing own food, or exiting the park and going to an outside restraunt. In Disneyland Blue Bayue is a nice place, but they are always busy, and need to reserve seating in advance (714)781-Dine. Tomorrowland Terrace *thank God they went back to that name* is a nice burger restraunt, what makes it so great is the interactive Star Wars show for the kids. they can fight Darth Vador and such. Pizza port, in tomorrowland as well, has better food, but seating can be a problem on hot days. well, i think i gave more information than you were looking for. but if you have any questions, just shoot me a messege. I used to work there until i got fired in October.. woohooo, thank God for that! haha.CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #
