gontleman 0 #1 February 19, 2007 Total mistake to pay for the crap I've paid for while being employed by this temp agency. The company I actually work for uses the temp firm to do most of it's hiring so for 3 months I had to work for the temp firm. Well it's been just over 3 months. During that time I was paying for medical insurance (close to $100 per month) and apparently, they wouldn't cover my 2 doctors appointments because of the primary diagnosis. (They apparently wanted me to go to a specialist as opposed to a family doctor.) And now they aren't covering my $100 blood test either. Total paid to insurance: $350. Total covered by insurance: $0. Total paid out of pocket: $240. Screwed myself. What a waste.

NWFlyer 2 #3 February 19, 2007 If you (or your doctor) hasn't appealed it, appeal it. It's worth a shot."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. gontleman 0 #4 February 19, 2007 Quote$100 a month insurance only covers sewing your head back on during non peak hospital hours. At least Aetna and BCBS covered my prescription without the need to pay for it out of pocket then seek reimbursement. Frankly I'll just be happy to get back under a bigger provider that is a little more... "current" with quality coverage practices. After, of course, I go 3 months w/o insurance as I actually become employed by the company I work for.
