The first step is to eliminate my 04' Silverado Crew and have this "new" truck take it's place. Right now the 04' just sits in the garage begging to be driven:(.

The 69' is a C20 w/ a Long bed, so I'm thinking of "pimpin'" it out a bit. She's been in my posession for about a week now and she is ready for a road trip(Maybe a trip to the DZ this weekend!). The 350 runs strong and compression is good(~110 all around), I rebuilt the brake cylinders on the front last weekend, replaced all of the exhaust manifold gaskets, and added a missing alternator bracket. It's hard to imagine all those repairs coming in just under $30.... I've got my ear to the ground looking for a Turbo 400 so I can ditch the 3spd and get a little more pep off the line. All in good time I spose.

Next stop...Overhaulin'.....

Oh Man....Friends don't let friends drive Chevys...:P
My dad bought a '68 C20 longbed brand new, it is still a cool old truck. My brother has it now and still drives it in the summers to haul a camper to the lake. Congratulations, post some more pics as progress happens!
