BillyVance 35 #1 March 7, 2007 A month ago, gas prices finally cracked back under the $2.00/gallon after a long steady decline. Now in the 30 days since, it's shot back up to $2.35/gallon!! mnskydiver688 0 #2 March 7, 2007 Yeah I just paid $2.49 a gallon. They slowly raise it back up, see when people make a fuss, then bring it back down. It is a vicious cycle.Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

Greedy fuckers! SOP for oil/gas thread: 1: Someone bitches. 2: Euros remind us that their prices are higher 3: Billvon's customary doomsday post, with self-congratulatory bits about his electric bike, solar panels, hybrid cars, and house located 1 nanometer from his workplace (all great, if you have the $ in the first place) 4: Someone calls Peak Oil junk science. 5: We all go skydiving on the weekend, burning x Gal/hr, depending on what the jumpship is 6: This dead horse carcass of a thread gets put back into the stable until gas prices go up a quarter or two, after a 30-cent drop. Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW.

I wish the price would keep climbing so I can sell this car!!!! I remember a couple years ago, two friends from Texas picked me up on their way to Florida to skydive. It was a VW Jetta diesel. Damn nice car. Oh and it got 700 fucking miles per tank-full! Even fully loaded with three skydivers and all our fucking gear! I have got to get one of those next time! Oh and Chris Spence, I don't know why I'm complaining. I don't even work! A few local trips a week, adds up to a tank-full every month.
