It hasn't been too big of a headache for me. Our software simply runs off the system time, so if the system time is good, then our software is up to snuff.

I have not even started updating any of my stuff though... I'll probably just disable the automatic DSL updates and do it myself.

Java needs its own patch also as we are finding out. So thats the OS, Java, and too many other little things to think about to change. Its a pain but nothing compared to Y2K.

time() is not affected by DST change. And if you use gmtime() instead of localtime(), you are fine anyway :)
