I had it once. It actually wasn't that bad. But I don't go for fast food in general.

I don't know that i would call Chipotle Fast food, as it is a completely different set up than normal fast food. It is much fresher. Also it isn't a burger and fries type place and that is sort of how i see fast food. It is a walking short turn around order place, but i would no sooner call Chipotle Fast Food, than i would call Bone Heads. If you are familiar with Boneheads it is a great chicken and fish place that is part of Raving Brands. There rant ended.

its just the new millenium version of taco bell....and it is fast food, controlled by McD's.

Moes Southwest is similar, but even more laid back design and they are cropping up everywhere around here.

yeah, with all the mexicans living in the USA, its easy to find the real thing....taco bell, chipotle, moes all appeal to those afraid to walk into and eat at the ethnic places, IMHO

Thats ridiculous, i am not trying to start an argument, but comparing Chipotle and Moes to Taco Bell is ridiculous, Moes is much more fast food than Chipotle, Moes, all the meat is precooked and put in a bag then boiled when ready. Chipotle all the meat is spiced and cooked on a grill in the back, then diced. Also they are not aiming to be the same thing as Ethnic Restaurants. Their concept is completely different.

I love Chipotle. There are very few things that I wouldn't do for a chicken fajita bol, hot and mild, cheese, sour cream and lettuce**! Yum!

Most "Mexican" food as we know it is really Tex Mex and comes from recipies that were devloped durring cattle drives when the cowboys had mexican cooks to make their food. They had to do their best with American Ingreadiants. If you look at regional cousine from Mexico it is very different from what many of us would know

As a diehard taco truck fan, I was pleasently suprised. They do something with their rice that is pretty damn good. Good as it is though, I'm literally surrounded by really really REALLY good taco trucks, so I don't go there much.
