skymama 37 #1 March 13, 2007 The City wants to give me a free 15 gallon tree, so ok, I'll take a tree. I got the magnolia last year and it's actually still alive. I don't know a thing about landscaping, so I thought I'd let you all decide. Pick me a tree! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

karenmeal 0 #4 March 13, 2007 I voted Crepe Myrtle.. They have really pretty flowers. I also seem to recall that they bloom in a slightly different time of year than most other things so that would be nice. Of course.. I don't know anything about gardening in Florida. Rick 67 #20 March 13, 2007 I voted Crepe Myrtle they are cool trees you can let them grow big or keep them trimmed up and shaped more like a bush. The first year we moved into our house I had one in the back yard that looked dead as hell but as soon as spring got here it bloomed with some nice pink flowers that made the yard smell great. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!
