NWFlyer 2 #1 March 15, 2007 So, yesterday I gave my two weeks notice from my old job and accepted a new one starting on April 2. I'm pretty excited - it's a whole new opportunity for me working for a startup and traveling a LOT less than I do for my current job (and what travel there is will be to Phoenix ... can you say weekends at Eloy?). But I need a job title. The job posting said "Internal Consultant/Project Manager" and the HR person and I agree that's not really a business card worthy title. Remi says I should be "MicroManager of the Cosmos." But I know my friends in Bonfire will have other great ideas as well. Not that I expect what I'm actually doing will have much bearing on the proposals, but I'll be building/running the company's IT organization as well as leading operational improvement efforts."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. ACMESkydiver 0 #4 March 15, 2007 'Executive -Infrastructure Development' or 'Infrastructure Development Executive' or if you want to go a little longer... 'Technology Infrastructure Development Executive' -And kudos if you have the balls to request the title 'executive'. Mine just came with the position. In the bank we got that title if we were in charge of...something.
