labrys 0 #1 March 19, 2007 Does anyone have experience selling tickets online? I have a couple of spares for the Women's FF and I've never tried to sell anything like this before. It's not clear to me if eBay or one of the dedicated ticket sales companies is a better option. I'm also not sure about whether I should wait until the actual FF teams are decided since that leaves very little time to sell them. I've even thought about classified ads in some of the top seeds newspapers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I wouldn't have to ask if the Buckeyes hadn't bombed in the first round. Sutton 0 #2 March 19, 2007 I have sold tickets onlyine quite a bit. I usually go with eBay. Sometimes, eBay will change there rules, so you need to sell the tickets with an envelope. That way, if they ask you, you can just say you're selling the envelope for the different of the face value. I've had to do that for quite a few tickets, but eBay may have given up on regulating it by now. As for when to sell, thats up to you I guess. I would probably wait a few more days, and offer next day shipping, but who knows. I imagine if you put them up now, and have the auction run for 5-7 days, it would generate quite a buzz.-Sutton

labrys 0 #4 March 19, 2007 Thanks, I've done that. I'm really looking more for anyone's comparisons or experiences with multiple ways to sell. The average tickets are going for a little under face value right now. I don't know if that's because there are too many for sale, or if it's because they aren't worth much until the teams are decided. Just hoping for some advice. Thanks for the info given so far.Owned by Remi #?
ematteo 0 #5 March 19, 2007 Check out stubhub.com They are one of the biggest clearinghouses for sport tickets. Have stadium maps that show you where the tickets are, etc. Everyone I know who buy/sells sports tix goes there. Good luck. Evan
