Beer 0 #1 October 28, 2006 One of the guys at the DZ has a mount for his altimeter that looks like a wrist protector for bowling. He can't remember where he got it last time I asked. Anybody know where to find them? I've tried searching everywhere. Learn to be happy. You can't be there for anybody else in life if you can't learn to be there for yourself. Beer 0 #3 October 28, 2006 Thanks. I tried that site earlier and just got a blank page. I actually had to clik the link a couple times to actually get the site to come up. Learn to be happy. redramdriver 0 #4 October 28, 2006 i have one and it is great. Little stiff to begin with, but it will soften up as you use/jump with it. BluesSo, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
matt91078 0 #5 October 28, 2006 Had my cloudflyer 500+ jumps and it is almost good as new. Got mine from Sonic and Donna at The Ranch. Matt
JohanW 0 #6 November 6, 2006 You can achieve something much like this with a loop of stretch velcro. I don't have a picture, and I can't take one, sorry. The loop doesn't go around your hand, it goes from one side of the altimeter to the other side around the palm of your hand (doubled), with the altimeter sitting on the back of your hand and the velcro going around your thumb. Dang, a picture would help.Johan. I am. I think.
DJL 235 #7 November 7, 2006 Two misgivings anyone can shoot down who has actually used one. 1. It's a full cloth around your hand so if you jump all day and sweat it's going to get nasty? 2. Is it so strong that if you get hung up by it, it can suspend your whole weight instead of breaking away? I'd rather lose an altimeter than do damage to my arm. Cool idea but my altimeter is good enough."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
