Hats off to the BBC for yet another amazing proggy. Sir David never fails to amaze me with information about our planet, and the people who do the filming must have the patience of saints.

Glad they do it though, the footage they get is just amazing.

Last nights show on shallow waters was jaw dropping, especially the great white shark footage in extreme slo mo.

Do y'all over there in the states get planet earth on BBC America?

I agree. I don't normally go out of my way to watch nature progs but Planet Earth has been astounding so far. Some of the visuals captured are so perfect you'd swear the animals and fish involved were directed to perform in front of the camera.

Sorry guys, looks like you'll have to order the Region 2 DVD box set and hope your player is multi-region.

Favorite shot so far was the other week on the polar episode. The aerial view of a polar bear swimming under pack ice. It swam just like a human.

Blue Planet played a couple years after it did in the UK over in NA... So it'll probably end up here eventually.
