Squeak 17 #10 March 22, 2007 I have very little chrome on my ride, fuck polishing the bike Although I'm leaning toward getting polished Aliminium Tank and ducktail. I'm going to basically rebuild the bike, I'm bored with the way it looks So although this is the current state of looks hopefully by years end it will be almost unrecognisableYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! ACMESkydiver 0 #17 March 23, 2007 Hooray! I love motorcycles! Bummer that I don't get to ride one until I have time to get a license. Joe won't take me with him (when he gets a bike again, that'll be sometime); it's this rule thingy that he has: nobody on the back of his bike. He laid it down with somebody on the back when he was a kid once and said 'never again'. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. floridadiver81 0 #18 March 23, 2007 Quote He laid it down with somebody on the back when he was a kid once and said 'never again'. I share his mentality. I was younger (17 at the time) and a bunch of friends and i were cruising. It wasnt my bike(its nice having friends with rich parents that buy them whatever the hell they want!) so i was being extra careful. Mike(the owner of the bike) knew my experiance level. We stopped off to get gas(there were 9 of us total). as we were filling up a convertible mustang pulled up opposite of us with 4 gorgeous women...much older than me..but i was the youngest of the group. They asked us if we would give them a quick ride. At this point i had never totted anyone before...but mike looks at me and tells me to take one of them. He trusted me so i was like whatever. The entrance back on the interstate was less than a 1/4 mile down the road. The woman that i had with me told me that she has been on the back of a bike before...yeah right...learned never to trust what a complete stranger says again. well...i went to get on the interstate which was an inclined right hand bend. well..this dumbass decided to jerk left as we're halfway through the turn..luckily i was only doing about 35. The rear end kicked out slightly but i was able to control it(MSC paid off with that one). I stopped the bike..told her to get off...called mike and had someone else come and pick her up. I was not about to continue with a passenger that damn near caused me to wreck. Since that day i havent taken a passenger unless i have seen them ride solo and show me that they know how to maneuver a motorcycle. moral of the story..never initally believe anyone when doing something that could end your life rather quickly!"Age has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge, learning, respect, attitude, or personality." -yardhippie "Fight the air, and the air will kick your ass!!!
