Freshwater tropical fish

I've got an empty 30 gallon freshwater fish tank set up in my living room. I'd like to get a new fish to put in it. I'm looking for something not exceedingly expensive and relatively easy to take care of. I've had community aquariums for years and now I think I want either one big fish or a few medium sized fish.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Look for a black ghost, a white ghost and a chocolate ghost. Inexpensive for a 3 to 4 inch size fish, but in a 30-gal tank, they will grow to 10-plus inches.

Get an Oscar.. very easy to take care of.... and they have a personality that most fish do not possess. They truely are more of a pet than any other fish I have ever seen with the exception of some Nasau groupers I met In Pennecamp National Park.

Ooh those are cool! I had one once that I loved. I never knew they had a chocolate one. Thaks for the Ida. I just might get another one.

Thats a god ida. I've wanted a Cichlid for a while but, they were always too aggressive for my smaller fish.
