kenneth21441 0 #1 October 20, 2006 Just saw a MC-4 on Ebay for $1000 dollars for sale. Just type in Halo parachute under search and youll see it.. Looks like you have 4 or 5 days to bid on it. Just to let you know.. thanks,Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith

kenneth21441 0 #4 October 24, 2006 Well I got mine at far less the going rate. But that was a MT1. Still about the same. Great to be a ex-Army Rigger from Bragg I guess.....lolol I also have a MC4 canopy that I would like to place in the MT1, but the risers are just a bit longer like 12 inches longer and done want to risk andy issues there.... Still for $1000 dollars its not too bad of a deal esp. for someone that is big.....just have to get a AAD installed and they are off to jump... But do wonder if someone showed up to the DZ with this and a AAD would they let them jump this for there AFF training??? I know of some that have showed up to my DZ at 290 out the door and that was too much for the Tandem program here and too much for the AFF rigs that we use....etc..Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith

We have a symphony of HALO rigs for use in the AFF program. They don't have to show up with a rig and AAD; they just have to show up. Having said that, it's not 5'8" and 295#s, Height & weight has to be proportionate. Kinda like TallGuy, AggieDave, myself, etc. whereby "in shape" and stocky trumps overweight and cash.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. ripcord4 0 #6 October 24, 2006 I purchased mine for $250, replaced one pilot chute and I was in the air. Personally, I think $1,000 is a bit much - MT-1XX's and MC-4's can be had for far less if you shop around.
