upndownshop 0 #1 March 29, 2007 They are doing big ways next door at Z hills. The sound of 160 bodies and then the opening of the canopies!! What a thrill. Been around this sport all my life and I still get chills running thru my body when I hear that sound!! I would say they only had about 8 - 10 out this time. Not bad for the first jump of the day!! Good spotting too, the cut away main landed pretty close to the peas! We are having a big party tonight for them at Sun Path, should be a good one, glad I am off tomorrow!! Blue skies and good luck to them. J

Call Tony, I'll bet there's a slot open for you. Hey, I'm so bad with names, but did we jump together at Mel's invitation-only 30-way 30th b-day jumps in January? Those were fun jumps, and my first (whoops...I think I owe beer) sort-of bigways! I DO want to take the camp in May very much, but I am busy with my Master's university classes. I need to see, if I can afford it and if I can do my work via laptop in my hotel room, after jumping every day. Once I buy a MAC laptop (hopefully, this week) and clear it with my counselor, it's all good. I'll have to wait one more week, and if I can scrape up the cash after buying the laptop, it's all good! I am going to do everything possible to make sure that I take a bigway camp, soon...I'm ready! I can only imagine what a 400 way would be like. Choose your poison right. On a side note on one of those jumps, Mike Swanson and Eli (I think) did a sit fly jump in the middle of that 100+ way big-way and it was one of the most bad ass things I have seen. Sure I only saw it on video, but to be able to sit at such a slow speed in such a big group, truly one of the cool moments in this sport.
