redtwiga 0 #1 October 19, 2006 I will not be able to make the one next weekend in Chicago, but don't want to wait until spring either. I can get the basics (packjobs) done at home, but am really interested in getting solid instruction as far as the nitty gritty sewing and repairs go. Any one know of any good courses I could look into? Thanks! Aviva
paraloft 0 #2 October 19, 2006 You should do everything at one course. My course includes sewing and many other things, It will be 01/05/07 to 01/13/06 but usually you are done on the 12th. Dave DeWolf paraloft@aol.com

Dave DeWolf paraloft@aol.com But who is this "DeWolf" guy really... (only the one who has taught 2/3 of the riggers in the US... ) GREAT class, highly recommend. Besides, you won't find a more handsome instructor anywhere JWAlways remember that some clouds are harder than others...
plummeteer 0 #4 October 21, 2006 Not trying to direct you away from DeWolf's course, his rep speaks for itself, but Tom Dolphin is doing his the exact same dates near Kansas City. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare

plummeteer 0 #6 October 21, 2006 That sounds logical to me too, as far as convenience and coverage goes for participants. But I think they probably set their courses up independent of one another, each as their time and other obligations allow. redtwiga 0 #7 October 22, 2006 Does Tom Dolphin have a website? Contact info? That course is a little closer to me... Also, Simon Wade in Las Vegas offers a course I think...that's right next door!
