When I got off student status, my DZO offered me a "deal" on a brand new Wings container, supposedly sized just to me, a new main and a new reserve. The price was great so I jumped on it.
The gear came in and I jumped it a few times. Then I started doing my heart's desire, which is CRW.
My coach kept fussing at me because I wasn't looking down to find the red center A lines and make sure my legs were wrapped in them. A wrong grip can cause a wrap/funnel in a big formation.
I told him I couldn't look down, as my chest strap was rising up on opening, resting on my neck and choking the living S H _ _ out of me! I had bruises from it more than once. This was a bone of contention for quite a while. He used to call it my "neck strap."
I keep a pillowed chest altimeter and a hook knife on that strap too. I had to keep the altimeter to the side because can you imagine the damage I could have done to myself had it ever hit me in the face?
I contacted Wings and their answer was to have me downsize my main, my reserve and rebuild the rig, which I did. It didn't help.
I finally gave in and followed his suggestion and ordered a Dolphin rig. I called the owner in person and explained my issues. He offered suggestions and options on my new rig.
The rig is a little wide in some spots, but I no longer have the fear of being choked, as my chest strap stays down in an acceptable place.

That's funny............that's the first time I have heard anyone say that a Dolphin was the rig to have. I liked mine just fine. Put 300+ jumps on it....99% Free fly. Never had a problem! To quote SM1 commenting on premature deployments "If you packed it right in the first place you wouldn't have that fuckin problem."
I like the little chicks. I can usually pick them up two at a time. That way I can have one now and one for later.

Damn, even with a pair and a small woman, that's still gotta be a lot of wingloading.
I like this list. I'm taller than everybody on it! Ok so only by an inch but still...it's not often that I'm taller than anybody!
