March 23 marked my 10th year in the sport. So it is not often I get hit with owing a case. Well today, dammit, I owe THREE!!!

First time landing a two stack...
First down plane...
First landing without shoes...they were on when we took off I swear! They were...ah...removed when we broke the downplane. :D

you have absolutely NO traction in socks....:D

Congrats, Steve!

And I'm only quoting you so you can't claim you don't owe 3 cases!

ps: I have an old set of Nikes I could send ya:P

thanks for the offer but I got mine back :)
My down-plane partner is on the Knights and his commander (of all people) got out low with us. He landed and apparently the shoes almost clocked him.

I'm told asics running shoes make quite the cloud on impact....:D:D

Great pics. Steve you are so cool. :)

Thanks sunny. But the rest of you are the cool ones - otherwise I wouldn't have kept coming back and doing this crap for 10 years!!!

Perfect example - my online drinking buddy (and now early, quiet sunday morning coffee drinking buddy) Arvel. ;) Nice pics! Thanks for those.

I said it before and I'll say it again - all of you guys rock. Thanks for making the last 10 years a blast. May the next 10 be just as nice.
:)

Nice! I've been a downplane shoe thief before, and had people try to make me a victim. My favorite shoe theft was removing a shoe from a guy leading a tracking dive on his back...he smiled at me as I docked on his foot, but his demeanor changed suddenly when he realized I'd just removed one of his shoes. :D I had planned to hand it to him in freefall, so he'd have to keep track of it during opening, but we ran out of time so I just gave it back on the ground.
