PRSKY71 0 #76 April 5, 2007 We never did try the "soft claws" product. However, the kitty and my doggy (Gracie) get along really great. I send my dog to spend time with my parents sometimes and when she comes back home she searches for kitty (Katana) and gives her a ton of kisses. No harm or any fights ever between them. We are going to have a baby very soon and I am concerned about scratches on the baby so I may still try the product. I want to wait to see how Katana reacts to the little first. Character cannot be made except by a steady, long continued process. -- Phillips Brooks
GogglesnTeeth 6 #77 April 5, 2007 QuoteMy dog already gets bullied by the b/f's (now husbands) 13 year old cat -- a lot of slapping around with my poor dog on the receiving end! Blue Skies to the 13yr old cat. She is missed by both of us. That is a great picture of the 2 girls! Ever since Bob left us, Katana has been super sweet being the only cat in the house. I miss my old friend, but our kitten is becoming a really good friend too.Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!" I did the soft claws for a while, and thing about em is, you gotta clip the cat's nails anyway, I decided to jsut settle for clipping them and be done with it. Also, get some tips on scratching post training, they make all the difference in the world. |>.<| Seriously, W.T.F. mate? They make a post that is sort of a 2 in 1...it wraps around the end of a couch or corner, and also you can just use it in the center of the room. It works totally sweet, and keeps the furniture safe. They do not have a product to keep the cat from scratching babies, though don't declaw. jeff D-16906
 Prev 1 2 3 4 Next Page 4 of 4 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
