I wish I could help but... um... I just don't really date... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
ladyskydiver 0 #52 April 5, 2007 QuoteOk, in that case... Being able to cook a nice meal has allways worked for me in the past. If you have a place that isn't a total shit hole invite her over and cook a favorite meal of her choice. A bottle or two of wine should be on hand. Small weekend trips are great too... camping is great during the nice weather. Cooking for a woman is always a very wonderful and pleasant surprise. Make sure the bathroom is clean and garbage taken out when you do that, however. Oh...and there is enough toilet paper on the roll so that she doesn't have to go digging for some or call for help. Weekend trip - leave that for after the first couple of dates. Let her get to know you first.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.
BelskyBlueEyes 0 #53 April 6, 2007 You said you are just out of college so I will assume you are still pretty young, may not have your own place and the privacy to cook a meal and that sort of thing. It appears you do not live in GA either, so some things mentioned in the previous postings here are not going to work! Here are some ideas: -Amusement park like Six Flags, or even a water park. (although that may not be cheap anymore!) -White water rafting -A park. We have Stone Mountain which has a laser show, paddle boats, a museum, stuff like that. You can pack a lunch and have a picnic, throw around a frisbee. All stuff that is not expensive! -Miniature golf -Camp out overnight, you will learn very quickly if she is high maintenance or not! -Fishing. Lakeside or go on a party boat, 1/2 day or full day. Yes, some women do enjoy fishing thank you very much... -Pick a direction and just drive. See what you find. Like for instance one time a guy I dated and I just headed west from Atlanta and eventually found some park that had a waterfall and scenic hiking etc. Then we went to dinner in this really small town. No plans, we just winged the whole thing. Good times. How's that for some ideas? There is always the standard dinner, movie, blah blah. It is fun to be a little more creative sometimes. PWScottIV 0 #54 April 6, 2007 QuoteWhere to go, what to do ... Rock climbing dates have worked very well for me. Picnics work pretty nicely too... Combining both together works very well in my experience. I assume you climb outside, right?Gravity Waits for No One.

Butters 0 #56 April 6, 2007 I do have my own place and I do rock climb outside. QuoteDid anyone suggest you tell 'em, "McDonald's and back to my place."? No, someone has suggested Burger King though. I'm not sure that would work now, I probably should have tried that in college."That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

PeteW 0 #59 April 6, 2007 I met this girl at work and when she found out I had a bike she insisted that I take her out. Our second date she was going bungee jumping and asked if I would go with her. After that we were both nuts over each other. A month later I took her skydiving for her Birthday> She did 14 last year and can't wait to do more. We enjoyed a summer of skydiving, rafting, quading, camping and whatever else we could fit in. She moved in after onyl a few months! Just do whatever comes natural. downwardspiral 0 #60 April 6, 2007 Do you know how to shoot? If so.... First date is always a day date. Evening dates are too much pressure on her as well as you not too mention more expensive. Take her to lunch then to the shooting range as long as she agrees. If she doesn't know how to shoot then you get to be the one in charge and teach her. If she does know how to shoot even better. Here is the key....if she is showing a lot of cleavage suggest she change into something less revealing because a hot casing between the girls can make for a bad date. She'll be impressed. Trust me. And remember .... safety, safety, safety. After shooting go get coffee or ice cream so you can sit and talk and get to know eachother. Works like a charm for me. www.FourWheelerHB.com
