jumpjunkie 0 #3 April 10, 2007 NO WAY! I thought that Tommy's character development was excellent with his battle with right, wrong, and what needed to be done. And Jenny was a great character as well. It was a dark show, but one that after every episode I thought, 'Damn, this is a great show." I am very disappointed that I don't have the pleasure of watching it any longer. Stupid TV executives! Tubing, so easy a caveman can do it.

What's this world coming to? It is getting replaced with the "Real wedding crashers" which I may watch one time just to see some funnies but for the most part I don't care about. Reality tv makes me want to die. Given that people watch crap like deal or no deal and think it is great is very sad.~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. McDuck 0 #7 April 10, 2007 You know, Family Guy came back because it sold a bazillion DVDs and people complained to Fox that they effed it up before it had a chance to really take off, moving it around and such. A lot of quality sitcoms and dramas are at risk of being canceled because they're more expensive to produce than reality shows and typically don't do as well in the ratings. If you look at the sitcoms and dramas that do well in the ratings, it's the ones with the soap operatic story lines (aka the "Will they or won't they?" shows).I don't have an M.D. or a law degree. It seems to me that the shows that are innovative and fairly fresh get cut rapidly from the lineup, while cookie-cutter "reality" shows are gobbled up like white bread at a duck pond. You know, I'm guessing that most network execs are people for whom the real world holds no more promise or hope, and for whom retirement is only one more on-camera interpersonal gangbang away. The execs are only approving the shows that the most people want to watch. Unfortunately the American public doesn't want to think when they watch TV. They just want to be told that there is a point/winner, and how to get to that point. Pathetic, mindless zombies for the most part. Tubing, so easy a caveman can do it.
