xwind 0 #1 October 11, 2006 Can anyone with a Crossfire 2 please tell me what length I should make the brake line toggle loop to ensure that I don’t pull the brakes when I do a front riser turn. Thanks.Wingsuit South Africa

Thanks. Set it to the factory mark. Jump it. If it's too short, lengthen it. If it's too long, shorten it.
Peej 0 #3 October 11, 2006 As i understand it, that's something you need to play with yourself, i'm not sure there is a specific length, although i could be wrong. I'd suggest doing what Clint Clawson told me on my canopy course. Go up, pull high so you're away and clear from traffic, then do a couple hard front riser turns. As you do, watch how much tail deflection there is, then go see your rigger and start to play with the length that you let them out. Start with say 10cm's and work from there. Go up and do another hop, do the sae drills. If the tail is still deflecting, let the brake lines out some more. Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky

Or you may find yourself in for a surprise on landing. Not a happy surprise involving cake and candles, either.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
