"Rules for Robust Flying"

Recommended Posts

I stumbled across this during some training I was doing earlier today:

"Rules for Robust Flying" found posted anonymously in a aircraft squadron ready room:

Regarding flying near the edges of the flight envelope:

1. Try to stay in the middle of the air.

2. Do not go near the edges of it.

3. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there.

I thought they were kind of fun...

Any of y'all heard of these before?
Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...

Yep! Always good to be reminded though:P

Then there's always the three most useless things in aviation:

The altitude above you;
The runway behind you;
And the fuel still in the bowser!
Do you want to have an ideagasm?
