maybe for presentations and I'm sure it could have some niche markets......but the average "user" can barely handle what they have now...you following the multiple display thread???? you think they can handle THESE????

Probably not our generation - I frequently find myself typing with two fingers, and I *still* misspell about half the words. But maybe the kids growing up these days will be able to work all ten fingers.

same here...and I can't type anywhere near the 4GHz or better that they are running at anyway...

it could be a very interesting future in computing...those little mobile devices are getting more and more powerfull all the time too...neural networks...some wonderful battery technology...

I've been in computers for about 26 years now (fucking ow!) and it's been interesting to see the changes...and it just keeps getting better!

When viewing some of my favorite websites, I find my self typing with just one hand.

I think for standing in front of a large screen doing a presentation, (as he is doing), it looks ideal. But for sitting at a desk, I can't see someone working all day with both hands up on the screen. (Note you don't see him typing in any text).

Also, if we're going to encourage people to be rubbing their fingers all over the screen, we will need to return to a hard glossy glass face on the monitor which can stand up to frequent cleaning.

There is a point where he types "gaudi" on the screen, but it's fast - you have to watch for it. The keyboard pops up and disappears very quickly.

Maybe someone should invent porn that requires even more dexterity, so we all can at least improve ourselves in the process

Thats all microsoft apps. I found a video a while ago of that photo app they were using. its rally slick it can do 3d spacial mapping off 2 D phots it finds locally and online. They used a courtyard as an example. You put in your images and it can build a complete wrap around image and will be able to zoom in anywhere it finds detail photos of what you are asking for.

Its a while from release since its so processor intensive but its coming...

But also think if for like a desk job, they had a slightly slanted desk workspace, and this would be the screen, instead of having an actual screen in front of you, the desk itself had the images imbedded on it!! This is freakin awesome!! I've seen this somewhere else before, and thought about what wonders it would do for my video editing!!
