Jewels 0 #251 April 12, 2007 QuoteSorry pens, you have to go. Forget that, then. I wouldn't pay you $20 for playoff hockey even if I WAS in Atlanta. (Okay, I probably would, but I would have to "accidentally" spill something on you in revenge.)TPM Sister #
simplyputsi 0 #252 April 12, 2007 Oh!!!! Where is the love. Actually I like the pens, more than the sens, but crosby is such a little punk. I loved when Kovy called him out last year? It was sweet. Mental note, if Jewels goes to game with me, make sure her beverage stays upright at all times.Skymama's #2 stalker -

I'm cheering for the Sabres, Stars, Flames and Sharks....cuz I know players and a coach on those teams so I'd like to see them have good postseasons. It would be very cool to see one of them hoisting the Cup! I thought the Senators looked like a team with something to prove for most of the game last night...until they let the Pens get a couple...then they started looking like the chokers of yore. The Stars looked good in the third and overtime...Luongo won that game for the Canucks....71 saves was it? 1 short of Kelly Hrudy's record.-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
simplyputsi 0 #256 April 13, 2007 Ok ok, I'm calm. The thrashers gave a pretty good showing, cept I'm not sure why with 7 minutes left in the 3rd there was 4 people behind our blue line when the puck was controled by us over their blue line?? They looked like they were waiting on something. WTF!!! 4-3 loss The crowd at least stayed behind them the whole game, and well I think the refs missed a few things, but that is playoff hockey for you.Skymama's #2 stalker -

murrays 0 #258 April 13, 2007 QuoteQuote ...Luongo won that game for the Canucks..... Get used to it. Hell of a first playoff performance, there's no doubt about that. This is what Luongo has been wanting so we'll see how far the Canucks go. Detroit looked like they were on a mission...I don't think they are going to fold early this year. Buffalo looked like a million bucks. Ryan Smyth looked right at home in an Islanders uniform...the Isles' white road uniforms are so similar to the Oilers' jerseys I did a couple of double takes. I don't think he'll see the second round though. Which reminds me...time to back up this laptop and head for home...there are games on right now.-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

murrays 0 #261 April 14, 2007 Buffalo will go home.... but not until they have won 16 in the playoffs Wild one tonight between the Sharks and Predators...those guys have got a hate on for each other. It's going to be a good series. Andrew - Luongo didn't do any game stealing tonight...Turco was the man who made all the stops. I don't know if Vancouver can get past Dallas....I don't think they have enough grit.-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
Andrewwhyte 1 #262 April 15, 2007 Truthfully I don't think they're that good a team,...except Roberto. Dallas smothered them well last game. Now we will see what kind of coach Vigneault is. They will have to change their offensive zone strategy a bit. Luongo will steal at least two more games this series.

Andrewwhyte 1 #264 April 15, 2007 Detroit has fallen into Calgary's trap! They clearly overused their first powerplay unit in the first period and will be tired for the rest of the game. Hard to believe they fell for such an obvious ploy.
simplyputsi 0 #265 April 15, 2007 No I mean home as in go play some golf!! I've still got my fingers crossed for my team, the Thrashers. Can't say the refs didn't blow about 5 calls yesterday. Not to mention the crazy bounce off the glass for goal 1. I mean come on. Rangers seem to have our number on penalty kills, and if we can't figure out how to get around that they are done. People down here don't think the garden is going to make it easier for us. I say look out New York, here comes the mo fruckin fury!!!!!Skymama's #2 stalker -
