ChasingBlueSky 0 #1 February 1, 2007 WOW! I may need to take time off and head out for this.....someone just sent me this email tidbit: Billboard reported on January 19, 2007 that there were rumors that Rage Against the Machine could reunite at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.[6]. These rumors were confirmed in a Los Angeles Times article on January 22[7] and later on the band's official website.[8] The band is billed to headline the final day of Coachella 2007 on Sunday, April 29.[9][10] Billboard reports that sources suggest this will likely be a one-off.[11]_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Slappie 9 #6 February 1, 2007 2007 looks like its the Reunion year. So far: Rage Against the Machine Police Van Halen w/ David Lee Roth - w/out Micheal Anthony Smashing Pumpkins That's 4 just this last month announced. I wonder who else is looking to capitalize off the Gen-Xers getting more money in their pockets. Or who's career needs a lift. It's not just the quantity that stands out; remobilized old bands have dominated the summer concert circuit for years. It's the star power. Beyond the Police and Van Halen, major reunion projects are on the way from such names as Rage Against the Machine, Genesis, Smashing Pumpkins and the Stooges._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me....
