airtwardo 7 #3 April 16, 2007 Quote ...still looks in good form You bet! Here is D1 conferring with our resident Rocket Scientist! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
wmw999 2,569 #4 April 16, 2007 The resident rocket scientist was having her logbook signed by D1, of course! Right above where it was signed by the jump I got to share with our very own raconteur. Thanks for the jump, Twardo! Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. 2fat2fly 0 #5 April 16, 2007 Wow, he's been jumping since you were 10 years old, twardo? that's amazing. Seriously, I haven't had the chance to meet him, yet. But by all accounts, a class guy all the way around-absolutely amazingI am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
lekstrom10k 0 #6 April 16, 2007 I regret that with no WFFC this year I wont be able to have breakfast with him We did fot the last couple of years Along with a few other well seasoned skydivers. I guestimated we had at one breakfast over 250 years and 60000 jumps between the 6 of us. It was sad to see all the pups not having a clue

lekstrom10k 0 #8 April 16, 2007 I was referring to the experience level and history at the table . Since then I heard we lost 2. How many landed under a 24 twill reserve , a 7tu or a pc . Or what are ropes and rings? Is a WDI yellow or green? Whats it like to make jumps for 30+ years without a GPS .
NewGuy2005 53 #9 April 16, 2007 I see. Thanks. Wish I had a chance to sit around that table.

Oh yeah, I have his signature in one of my old logbooks though it was the only time I met him, and only for a minute..."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
