Icon134 0 #1 April 25, 2007 ok... I'm a guy... and I own an electric drill (like any real man should... ) its nothing really powerful... just a Dewalt 14.4V... I loaned it to a friend of mine the other day... (he doesn't have one...) and a moment ago... he called me because he couldn't figure out how to install a drill bit in it... so... should I be worried about getting my wonderful piece of hardware back in one piece? karenmeal 0 #2 April 25, 2007 Hey.. I made a post just last week about not knowing how to do that! http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2772689;search_string=power%20tool%20moron;#2772689 I didn't break the drill.. and I actually ended up doing a very nice job installing my cam-eye. So don't worry.Edited to add: But I did almost drill through my hand a couple times.. tell him to watch out for that. quade 4 #3 April 25, 2007 Quote so... should I be worried about getting my wonderful piece of hardware back in one piece? No. You should be afraid of getting sued when he drills a hole in his hand. It was your drill and you loaned it to him.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
skydiver30960 0 #4 April 25, 2007 I don't think you should worry about the drill, I think you should worry about your buddy. How old is he and he doesn't know how to put a damn bit in the chuck? Elvisio "grip it and rip it" Rodriguez

Snowwhite 0 #19 April 25, 2007 I have multiple drills. Some with a keyed chuck, some keyless. If a friend had a difficult time figuring out how to work them, I would have serious fun with him when he brought it back. btw, I had difficulty starting my chainsaw Sunday, but my buddies helped me out, and then made fun of me...skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
