Do you ever have some incredibly random memory, something you have no reason to have stored in your brain, just pop out of nowhere into your conscious thought? Driving down the road yesterday it happened to me twice within about 30 minutes. First the string PVFG88B popped into my head. That was my very first Prodigy "screenname" back around 1990 or so. The second, about half an hour later, was JJW1054. That was the license plate on the big Ford cargo van that my family owned for the better part of the 80s.
