ladyflyer77 0 #1 April 25, 2007 feeling when you meet or talk to someone that everything just seems so right? You look forward to the next time you get to talk to them. Even though you live miles and miles apart. It really doesn't matter because of the way they make you feel. How they can do the smallest things and yet you still smile. Isn't life just wonderful! gonzalesna 1 #17 April 25, 2007 I did... About a half hour through the conversation, we broke upThen it happened again, only this time, we did the distance thingy, then I flew out there, spent a month with her, took her for her first tandem, and then the day I left as I went to kiss her goodbye, I again, got the breakup speech... Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie. gonzalesna 1 #23 April 25, 2007 I think I'll pass... at least for now. Much of the relationships existing in the military go to crap. ACMESkydiver can tell you how hard it can be. Congrats to her for being able to deal with it... it's not something that is easily done. Its around an 80% divorce rate for first term enlistments last I heard. Anyone who makes it through that first part alone deserves a solid pat on the back and lots of praise. (As well as a big cookie or a sugary item of their choiceRight now, I don't plan on getting out of the military, so in a sense, I'm causing some of my issues. Eh, Se la vi... (spelling's probably all fuckered up) Booze, buddies, and getting out to do stuff like hockey, skydiving, and riding my new toy make me happy, and that's what's important in life. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie. lawrocket 3 #24 April 25, 2007 Yes, I know that feeling. I got it with my wife. It's a funny thing how I looked forward to talking with her, e-mailing her, etc., all the time. And you're right - it's the little stuff. The little things that make you say, "WOW!" After being together for a while, those moments are not consistent. But every now and then, they come back. "WOW!" Something there to remind me. My wife is hotter than your wife.
