Blue Skies forever. I hope no one else was hurt.

Unfortunately several people on the ground were hurt, as it crashed into an area of small homes and trailers. They say the pilot was performing in his first air show but had been with the Blue Angels for 2 years. [:/]

The solo pilots start out as #7. The first year they serve as narrator and fly the #7 jet.
They scout out air show sites and give VIP's rides in the jet as well as narrating the air shows. They go on to fly the #6 jet as opposing solo which is what Kojak was doing and then the #5 jet which is the lead solo.

It's a very small Navy. I didn't realize it until they released the names but I knew Kojak. Haven't seen him since I left Virginia...in fact, the last time I saw him was at the NAS Oceana O club. We we were all tipsy and he was hitting on my bestfriend. He was such a sweetheart and he'll be missed.:(
