caspar 0 #1 April 26, 2007 just a thought carrying on from the do you love/hate yourself thread.... you perceive yourself differently to how others perceieve you. others may see you differently and not understand who you truly are yet how you truly behave, you mave not reallise or you simply delude yourself...etc who do you think is right at knowing what you are like and who you are?"When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading." peregrinerose 0 #3 April 26, 2007 Other people are best at determining how I come across. I am best at knowing my motivations and insecurities. So the answer is both and neither. Do or do not, there is no try -Yoda
Icon134 0 #4 April 26, 2007 I think generally the person "we are" is a combination of what we percieve and what the people around us percieve... because people often delude themselves about some things but are also more honest about other things... but at the same time the people around you don't always see every aspect of who someone is... outside people also are likely to bring in aspects of themselves when judging who another person is... I am who I am though... and regardless of what someone else might think about me... I am going to be who I am... edited to add: of course I don't think either is Right or wrong... it just is...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
