Scoop 0 #1 April 27, 2007 People like this get on my tits. What kind of lame excuse is that. I leant a friend my Crosswind DVD 2 years ago and she still hasn't even looked at it. She asked me for it too, not like I said shes got to watch it! So in 2 year she hasn't had a spare hour and a half. What a crock. She should just say. I don't want to watch it, I've lost it, I've changed my mind or whatever. Next time someone says to me that they haven't had the time to do something when really they have had ample oppurtunity I think I'm going to punch them in the mouth. I'll admit I am lazy though... thats why I don't get things done!

NWFlyer 2 #4 April 27, 2007 Well said. I try to catch myself when I say "I don't have time." I try to be more accurate and say "I haven't made time" or "I'm having trouble making time" or "I haven't made it a priority." We all make choices and how we choose to manage our time is one of them. Scoop, just take your damn DVD back. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
iamsam 0 #5 April 27, 2007 you seem to have some 'time' on your hands today ! tell her you need it back as you accidentally recorded some home made porn over it and don't want it getting in the net - you might not actually get it back but at least she'll watch it! but what do I know

Scoop, just take your damn DVD back. "I just couldn't be bothered!" would be more correct english I think. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. littleskycrab 0 #9 April 27, 2007 "I don't have time" is a common chant in my life! I work 2 full time jobs, have 2 kids, 3 cats, 1 dog, 1 Australian Bearded Dragon, Football practice, Basketball practice, 3 acres of grass to mow, homework to help with and TONS of hobbies............ so no, I don't have time...... Sometimes I even have to cut working short just so I can get some sleep. Some of us really don't have time...... God knows I wish I did......... I'd wash clothes, wash my car, fix the barn, put brakes on my car, shave my legs.... should I keep going?.... it's a long list..... When I do have time, I'm usually recovering from the illness I acquired from never having the time to get some decent rest. Got some "free" time you can send me, because I'm sick of saying "No, I didn't have time".Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leaves you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing and listen as heaven whispers, "Do you like it? I did it just for you."

littleskycrab 0 #11 April 27, 2007 Man, I'd absolutely freaking love it if my husband would do SOMETHING, because, well, I'm naturally lazy and I don't even have time for that! I hate running like my hair is on fire! I'd absolutely kill for 5 minutes of nothing to do! Of course, someone is thinking "give up some of those TONS of hobbies", but you see, those hobbies keep me from hurting the innocent........ Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leaves you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing and listen as heaven whispers, "Do you like it? I did it just for you."
