"Women's town" to put men in their place

BEIJING - Chinese tourism authorities are seeking investment to build a novel concept attraction - the world's first "women's town," where men get punished for disobedience.

The 2.3-square-km Longshuihu village, also known as "women's town," was based on the local traditional concept of "women rule and men obey."

The motto of the new town would be "women never make mistakes, and men can never refuse women's requests."

When tour groups enter the town, female tourists would play the dominant role when shopping or choosing a place to stay, and a disobedient man would be punished by "kneeling on an uneven board" or washing dishes in restaurant.

I'm a man, and I'd not like to live there. Not necessarily because of the rules, but because I have no interest in ever going to China, let alone living there.

If there was a town like that in America, would you want to live there, or would you avoid it like the plague?

Depends on how literal their motto is. If a disgusting hosebeast came up to me and said I had to go down on her or I'd be punished? Hell no I wouldn't want to live there.

If it's more of a "Man has to obey his wife" thing? I probably still wouldn't want to live there I guess, since I don't think women should have to live in the opposite situation.
