SkyDivinRyan 0 #1 September 22, 2006 Hey guys just wanted to hear everyones opnion about the heatwave and its performance thanks for your input
AggieDave 6 #2 September 22, 2006 If you do a search you'll find a lot on Heatwaves. I put about 450 jumps on one, its a Stiletto copy, so if you have no buisness under a Stiletto, you have no buisness under a Heatwave. At 41 jumps you really don't have any business under either of them. Go talk to your S&TA or the experienced instructors at your DZ and ask them if they think you should be under a Stiletto. If they say no, then that's your answer.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

AggieDave 6 #4 September 22, 2006 Its not manufactured due to PISA's sport parachute division having been rolled into Aerodyne a few years ago.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

I wish I'd picked up another Hornet and possibly a Heatwave back when they were dirt cheap. A lot of people have tried to tell me that their low price equated with low quality. I don't believe it. I'm still jumping my hornet and still love it. I paid about ($400. U.S.)for it new. Flies and looks just like a SabreII. Great quality. I also really like the colored line tabs when packing. You can't mix them up....Steve1
AggieDave 6 #7 September 23, 2006 I would agree with you. I had a Heatwave for quite a while, it was a good canopy. I put a lot of jumps on a Hornet as well. I bought mine when they were "expensive," paying about $750 for it brand spank'n new. I agree, they were good canopies, especially for the price you could get them at.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." rhys 0 #9 September 25, 2006 you mean spank wave? if you have a sexy physiotherapist to massage your neck and medical insurance to pay for it then it is o.k.! i did 800 jumps on one and visited the physio more than 6 times because of it! it does fly like a stiletto so if you want to swoop when you're ready, i suggest a crossfire or safire or something with a longer recovery arc!"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix
JillKnauf 0 #10 April 4, 2014 Summer season is coming; all of us are busy thinking where to spend it. Some loves the beach while others choose to stay at home. During summer season if you prefer to stay at home means you prefer to use your air condition working all day and night. However, putting some regulator can help you avoid damaging your appliances at home during blackout. You can get a new appliance with a personal loan. maadmax 0 #11 April 4, 2014 I have over a 1000 jumps on a heatwave, I absolutely loved it ,except a couple of times when I didn't. Be sure you get a nose modification to slow down the openings. Have your emergency procedures honed to perfection, when they malfunction you are in for a wild ride.

The asshole here is Jill for bumping the thread with her trolling about personal loan shit. It's flare not flair, brakes not breaks, bridle not bridal, "could NOT care less" not "could care less".
