Hypothetical Situation - Airline Jump

Recommended Posts

So there I am ... (hypothetical)

40K and the oxygen masks come down. Is that a green light for me to grab my rig and do a pin check? Flip the lid down on my Z1?

If more than one engine is affected, are you justified in popping the emergency door and doing a two way with your carry on off the wing? Handicam video going.

Would that door open in flight with no pressurization?
If the plane is in a dive...is it better to jump up to clear the tail? Better to throw your carry on and see?

If there's a jagged hole then its much easier probably.

Yeah, Im bored again...

-Yeah I am still bored.

I asked my wife, she's the 'mart' one in our house!

She said if it were an in-flight emergency and you got up from your seat and tried to monkey with the door...

...and the bullets from the air marshal didn't take a lotta the fight outta ya, and the passengers didn't beat the snot from your melon...you probably couldn't open the door anyway.

Some kind of a lock out switch or something on the rear doors, ya can see the little red flags in the little windows at the bottom. The over wing exits have some safe guard thingie that won't let the latch work unless the plane is at a stop.

And if ya hopped out the 'jagged hole' the rampers would have to hose you off the side & tail when the plane landed.

Ya know the window in the cockpit opens too...;)

Told ya she was a real 'SMARTIE' :):P
