stitch 0 #1 May 2, 2007 I just finished Faulkner's "Go down Moses" and am about 1/2 way though "Fountainhead" for about the 4th time. On the technical side I'm still skimming through Poynter's volumes 1 & 2. beufus 0 #3 May 2, 2007 I'm half way through The Gold Coast by Nelson DeMille. So far it's very good. Smoking is a combination test for intelligence and resistance to marketing/peer pressure. All smokers have failed at least one of these.

JENNR8R 0 #8 May 3, 2007 Because of another thread like this, I ordered Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. Many people highly recommended it. It came in the mail today. From the looks of it, I wouldn't have picked it up at the book store or the library. I hope it's as good as everyone said. It's 936 pages long... DFWAJG 4 #9 May 3, 2007 I recently read "Stiff" by Mary Roach. It explores the curious lives of cadavers. Very interesting. this thread reminds me of a line from THE RANCH. Compliments of Mike Rome..."This ain't no book club, we're all gonna die!"
