normiss 877 #1 May 8, 2007 Just checking up on the person that killed my best friend 2 1/2 years ago...ran over him like a dog. Amazing how lightly a biker's death is dealt with..or is it our entire criminal justice system? http://www.dc.state.fl.us/ActiveOffenders/detail.asp?Bookmark=2&From=list&SessionID=999055735 the accessible records in Florida are simply amazing sometimes...anyone have any other ones of note? Lindercles 0 #2 May 8, 2007 How dare you acknowledge public information in a public forum! You should be ashamed of yourself for obeying the laws of your state! Geez, what are you going to do next, WEAR A HELMET?!?!?!?! The HORROR!

simplyputsi 0 #4 May 8, 2007 You know I wish GA had something like this. I have no idea what my neighbor above me did, but I know this much. She was selling drug, probably meth and heroine. She had at least 2 dui's in less than 2 months. Other things as well. Yet i don't believe she got much for her crimes. They found a large ball of heroine in her house, in her dresser. Last I checked that was trafficing (sp). Sorry to hear that crazy bitch you linked to got nothing. I have lost a lot of faith in our justice system.Skymama's #2 stalker -

ChrisL 2 #8 May 8, 2007 Current status reads as "Drug Offender Probation" This is defined as: Drug Offender Probation is an intensive form of supervision, which emphasizes treatment of drug offenders in accordance with individualized treatment plans. The program includes elements of surveillance and random drug testing. Contacts are made by correctional probation senior officers to monitor offenders’ drug use.__ My mighty steed

normiss 877 #11 May 8, 2007 in this case...when she ran Byron over she was caught with weed and some chemicals...hence the drug probation. 10 years. The idiot DA (not dizzy.com members ) felt there would be a good chance she would screw up and end up in jail for VOP.

marcandalysse 0 #13 May 8, 2007 Beyond the criminal data, there is a wealth of data about other areas of our lives. If you own a home, the website of your county property appraiser will have all the details on your home....what you paid, what it is assessed at now, how many bathrooms etc etc. In Sarasota's site you can see your home from aerial photo, click on your neighbors home and see what they paid for theirs...etc Another that comes to mind is the near real time reports of traffic accidents and traffic arrests around the state. I am sure there's lots more out there on public govt websites. littleskycrab 0 #15 May 8, 2007 Georgia does have something like it. I forget the actual web site address, but all you have to do is search for the Georgia Department of Corrections.Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leaves you speechless, remain that way. Broke 0 #17 May 8, 2007 There was a case where this drunk chick drove over two people crossing the road and killed them both the judge ruled just because she was driving while under the influance does not mean that she was driving recklessly she got off with little more than a slap on the wrist. I wish I knew what case that was so I could referance it betterDivot your source for all things Hillbilly. Anvil Brother 84 SCR 14192
BillyVance 35 #18 May 8, 2007 Man, I don't care who you are, you drive drunk and kill someone doing it, you deserve some serious jail time. This justice system is so fucked up. Several states have been in the process of stiffening up the penalties for drunk driving and other related charges, but they are nowhere near strong enough.
