what's a 5th wheel?


A caravan (not the plane), one so large that it's connection to the truck (ute) is very similar to what semis(road trains) use to connect to trailers. That type of connection is called a "5th wheel", and often times "5th wheel" is used instead of "large camper" or "large trailer".

This ends your english lesson for today. What language do you speak again? :o:D:P

Or do you mean a ring feeder like on a dolly car on the end of a semi ?

Its definitely NOT a "horse"! I wouldnt call it a "house" either! :D Its a camper, a LARGE camper, and its a table top connection, just like on semi-trucks (road trains), not the trains themselvs that utilise (see the spelling just for you) the dolly-car connection. :P
