willard 0 #1 May 13, 2007 Another thread got me thinking about something.... Has anyone read Poe's "Tell Tale Heart" while keeping in mind the narrator may be a woman? Poe was always very thorough with details such as gender, age, race, social status, etc. of his characters, so it was obviously intentional that Poe never let on exactly who the narrator was to the old man.
