georgerussia 0 #1 April 26, 2007 Hi! Looking for the advice regarding the best transportation option from ONT or SAN to Perris. Arriving either on May 1st evening (7PM), or May 2nd morning (9AM), departing May 6th evening (around 9PM). So far the rental car beats every option I've found, but maybe I just didn't look long enough?* Don't pray for me if you wanna help - just send me a check. *

BillyVance 35 #3 April 26, 2007 you might try looking for rental car places that are not partnered with or located AT the airports. You could potentially find much cheaper rates if you can get a shuttle or rail ride in the right direction. Or just beg for a ride from one of many skydivers in the area and treat them to beer. monkycndo 0 #4 April 26, 2007 Rental cars at ONT tend to be pretty cheap.50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
skybytch 273 #5 April 26, 2007 Rental car. You don't want to be stuck at the Perris dz without wheels - while nearly everything you might possibly need is available on site you may decide to hit up Elsinore while you're down there (it's only 30 minutes away) and you don't want to pass up the chance to experience the wild nightlife that is downtown Perris. Okay, so maybe you do want to pass up that chance. Regardless, getting a car will be your best option - the dz isn't within walking distance of much of anything other than Bonehead's. btw, regarding rental cars - I had excellent luck with Budget at ONT a couple years ago. Reserved the cheapest car possible online; ended up getting a Mustang convertible for the same price.
georgerussia 0 #6 April 26, 2007 Thanks everyone. I'm getting a rental car then. BTW, is there any nightlife in downtown Perris? Do they speek English? Last time me and my wife were there, two places we went to didn't speak English at all :)* Don't pray for me if you wanna help - just send me a check. *
skybytch 273 #7 April 26, 2007 Quote BTW, is there any nightlife in downtown Perris? Oh hell yeah. There's the bar where that guy got shot, the grocery store parking lot where that other guy got beat up (oh, wait, that was during the day, nevermind), and the liquor stores all carry multiple flavors of Mad Dog! Wow, that sounds like REAL fun! No way I could miss it. Just one more question - are there reustarants in Perris which serve anything else besises Mexican food? :)* Don't pray for me if you wanna help - just send me a check. *
skybytch 273 #9 April 26, 2007 Quote are there reustarants in Perris which serve anything else besises Mexican food? You gots something against Messican food? I haven't been down there in a couple years but there was an excellent Italian place across from Amigos Tres, a decent Chinese buffet and an IHOP out toward WalMart and a Denny's close to downtown. Drive to Temecula (15-ish minutes depending on traffic) and you'll find every possible variety of food in the area surrounding the mall. I highly recommend the Brazilian bbq place there if you're a meat eater.

I've told him that discrimination based on national origin is illegal, but he doesn't care. Maybe I'll sue him later Quote I highly recommend the Brazilian bbq place there if you're a meat eater. Last time me and my wife were there, two places we went to didn't speak English at all :) Only nightlife in Perris regarding anything spoken in english is at the drive thru windows at the del taco and jack-in-the-box places and at the DZ. Everything else is in spanish...Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie. NWFlyer 2 #14 April 27, 2007 Or go over to Lake Elsinore and get sushi at Kokoro. If you're feeling REALLY brave ask for the Sudsy Roll. It's not on the menu. Make a mental note... If you see a burger joint called "In-n-Out"... STOP AND EAT THERE!!! There's not much to the menu, but there's the "secret stuff" most don't know about. If you want a man's burger, ask for a 4X4 (4 meat patties, 4 slices of cheese... one REALLY big burger) and get your fries "animal style" (with cheese and special sauce) Don't worry the sauce is safe. nothing gross... that's how I always order my food. DFWAJG 4 #24 April 29, 2007 Even the non-Mexican food places are made by Mexicans! that drove me crazy when I lived their. I love how hard working Mexicans tend to be and they have such good family ethics-but I hate their food. Go to downtown Redlands-there is a great Thai place that has a yummy martini bar.
