wildfan75 1 #27 May 9, 2007 Quote Quote At least your at a net gain of one step and getting somewhere. I'm currently back peddling as fast as I can as just to not fall over. Here's been my last 7 days: Wednesday: $916 repair car Wednesday night: Dog throws up five times Thursday: Dog craps in house. Friday: Dog craps in house again. Saturday: Stupid winds pick up and I didn't quite get my goal of doing 200 jumps my first year Saturday night: Dog still sick and now has puked in the clubhouse at the dz four times, in her kennel and crapped in the bf's house (and when I'm saying crap...I mean major running, pissin' out your A-hole fun). Sunday: Bring dog to vet for $230 bill. This AM: Car breaks down about a 1 mile from work. With the tow charge and probably the alternator (symptoms point in that direction), I'll have another bill for $350. I'm not sure how I'm going to get home or how I'm going to go to get my car picked up. I had to bow out of my first 4 way competition on the 19th because of my unexpected up the ass bills in the last 7 days and leave my team and since my dog has gotten all her medication on Sunday night, she hasn't pooped yet. Taking two steps forward and one step back seems like a pretty damn good thing right now. Sorry...going back to my silent moppy place... And not one of those things is a REAL concern (purhaps the dog) how sad you didnt make 200 in 12 months, how sad you cant make your 1st 4way comp, how sad you can afford to pay your car and vet bill Everyones worries should be so sad as yours Hmm...let's see. The car bill today ended up being $693 today, and since now my key won't turn over in the ignition, I get to go back tomorrow and have more work done. Which is going to create debt that I probably won't pay off until either A) I sell my house or 2) go in rears with my mortgage. So, I hope that I sell my house soon, or there goes the credit. Then the dog will be the least of my problems as I give her away because it's hard to feed me and a dog while living on the street. This is the tip of the iceberg. If you'd like to know everything that is going on, please PM me and if not, then STFU.

I did talk to the vet on Thursday evening and they said she's probably fine, just ate something she shouldn't have. Said to fast her until Saturday AM and then try giving her rice and chicken to get her started again. I gave her rice and chicken on Saturday AM. Seemed to stay down. Gave her more on Saturday night and she started to vomit again. I took her to the vet Sunday AM as soon as they opened. Her energy level was normal and other than the puking and pooping, she was her normal self. So instead of taking her to an Vet Hospital and having $1000 vet bill, I waited until Sunday AM to bring her in. I haven't read the other replies at all, yet; I hope that it's not a mistake to post to you now. I apologize if this sounds rude, but was there a reason why you couldn't tak your dog to get proper medical attention, until Sunday? It was so sick from Wednesday on...it just seems like a long time to wait. I'm glad that your dog is better now. That's too bad that you had to stop your 4-way due to unforeseen expenses, but it happens. That's one of the reasons why many jumpers don't compete. Competing in this sport is such a huge commitment, financially and in every way. Good luck with all, and I hope that the doggie stays healthy!
