As much as I am a ghoul for finding some pleasure in the misery of others, there are some people who seem to outright ask for it. Now, I had never imagined that Paris Hilton was ever in danger of being recruited by MENSA. But how ridiculous is this stuff? So here's what happened in court yesterday for Ms. Hilton. Now, she was brought in on a charge for a probation violation - driving with a suspended license, which she had lost for a DUI. Apparently, she was busted for the same thing in January, when she was told that she shouldn't be driving at all. She said she didn't know that her license was suspended and passed the blame on her publicist (always trust a publicist - they never provide inaccurate information). The court thought, "Yeah, right." Now judges don't much like to be bullshitted. Judges dont' like it when people pass blame to others. They are typically of the viewpoint that keeping your ass out of trouble is your job, and not somebody else's. On top of that, she showed up late for court - more than 15 minutes late. We all hate attitude among people. And frankly, I think there's a good chance that she wouldn't have been sentenced to any jail time (probably community service) had she acted appropriately contrite about it. But she apparently did not. Imagine being the person hearing from her that she didn't understand the terms of her plea to DUI: "I just sign what people tell me to sign…. I'm a very busy person." Imagine being the judge when she said that she's a law abiding person. Um, law-abiding people are typically not brought in for a probation violation. And yet, the judge gave her the same sentence he would give to others. Hints to all of you out there - in general, when busted, own it. Don't pass the blame, just own up to it. I don't think the judge would have given that sentence had she been on time, demonstrated appropriate contriteness, and generally not acted as if she was snubbing. Second, only break one law at a time. If you shouldn't be driving because you have a suspended license, make sure you turn your headlights on at night. See, my "break one law at a time" rule ensures that you can only get in a little trouble. Still, I'm stunned that she is supporting a petition to keep her out of the can. Even more stunning, none of these "keepers" of hers will let her know that her license is suspended, and none will spell-check to make sure that she spells "sihn" correctly. She has no boobies, no butt, she appears anorexic, she's bitchy, stuck up, snobbish, is known because daddy has money and gives it to her when asked for it, was in one movie that isn't worth more than a used fingernail from your local homeless guy, has no moral discipline, expects people to suck up to her, and is probably so loose that I might as well just stand on my front porch and fuck north.Needless to say, I don't like her. I was working security for the Stagecoach Festival (country concert in Indio, CA) over the past weekend. When I heard she was there, I was disappointed that she didn't try to get in through my entry point without the proper credentials. I would've taken pride in escorting her out of the park. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
