RkyMtnHigh 0 #3 May 16, 2007 Agreed! I had more balls then than I do now...I had balls because I knew nothing..and the more I have learned in the past 3+ years has really enlightened me as to "what could possibly go wrong" _________________________________________
guppie01 0 #4 May 16, 2007 I didn't learn of DZ.com till I had a few jumps under my belt. and.... I lost my original log book that had all my fun logs so I can't reflect there (I used to draw all sorts of pictures for each jump). I do have my memories in my head (at least the ones that haven't died from all the alcohol consumption since becoming a skydiver). g "Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" Shotgun 1 #6 May 16, 2007 Quote Do you ever look back to the posts you made when you were an AFF student? No... Al Gore had not yet invented the internet (or at least not the world wide web) when I was an AFF student. Oh, and even your recent posts seem like you still have a lot of energy and enthusiasm. I was a 19-year-old hippie flower child when I started jumping, so there are lots of little pictures and poems to describe how I was feeling after certain jumps. JohnMitchell 16 #11 May 17, 2007 Luckily there was no internet or even AFF when I was a student. Otherwise, I would have made long, rambling, adrenaline fueled posts, boring the piss out of anyone who read them. But I do love the enthusiasm of the noobs. It's what keeps me instructing.
