When you were a newbie skydiver...

Do you ever look back to the posts you made when you were an AFF student? I just did and it made me laugh..but I also enjoyed reflecting on the level of energy and enthusiasm I had then:)

I like when I find people posting things now that completely contradict what they were insistent on in their early days. You know back when they thought they knew everything.

I didn't learn of DZ.com till I had a few jumps under my belt.

and....

I lost my original log book that had all my fun logs so I can't reflect there (I used to draw all sorts of pictures for each jump).

I do have my memories in my head (at least the ones that haven't died from all the alcohol consumption since becoming a skydiver).

No... Al Gore had not yet invented the internet (or at least not the world wide web) when I was an AFF student. :P

Oh, and even your recent posts seem like you still have a lot of energy and enthusiasm. :)

My original logbook is hilarious. I was a 19-year-old hippie flower child when I started jumping, so there are lots of little pictures and poems to describe how I was feeling after certain jumps. :D

Sorry. Too old. This site wasn't even -thought- of yet back then.

Well, I'm at least not as old as -some-....the internet discovered Al Gore at least by then....;)
