gonzalesna 1 #1 May 16, 2007 ...and I just started studying. Trying to go from enlisted to officer requires an SAT or ACT taken and scored within the last 4 years. I gotta take one, but the only one they're doing this month is on Thursday and I found out and signed up for it yesterday. Yesterday, I took a couple of the math test quizzes and all I have to say is... "DAMN." How did I forget that much about Algebra??? On the upside, I'm not worried at all about the english part of the test. Now if only I could get my damn hands off this keyboard and my eyes of dz.com...Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. SuperGirl 0 #23 May 16, 2007 the SAT is the kind of test that you master by practicing on lots and lots of real tests. Find books that contain REAL tests from past years, there are a ton of them out there (a lot of libraries have these so you don't need to pay for them), and just practice, practice, practice. The more tests you do, the better your score... which is one of the reasons why a lot of people who retake the test usually improve on their score the second time. I always felt like it's not so much about knowledge as it is about getting used to the test pace and the types of questions they like to ask. good luck!
