I usually cry first. :$

I used to have a huge anger management problem. When I got angry, I had a spare keyboard that I would just beat the shit out of. But I guess it scared my husband (at the time) because he took it away from me. >:(

When I worked at the car dealership with my husband (at the time), I had a miniature dart board. If he came by and saw me chunking darts at the board, he'd just come in and ask me what I was angry about. If I just glared at him without talking to him...he'd rapidly retreat until I had worked it out in my own head. ;)

I USED to go driving. Long drives give me time to clear my head. But with the price of gas now....I stay at home and brood. [:/]

I always tell kids when they are 14 or 15 to go to a funeral of someone that they don't know that well. That way, they are a little more prepared for dealing with the emotions when it is someone that they care for.

A good funeral director is a professional who helps you identify and cope with the emotions. After a few, funerals aren't as difficult because you've thought through things before you arrive.

You never really avoid emotions, you can only suppress them. Some people face them in a series of smaller moments, but you can't ever avoid them.

good topical question... I remember the first person that I knew that died... it shook me to the bone and messed with my mind... a year into skydiving and the phone rang .... plane crash twin otter 22 on board 16 died I did some serious growing up/ getting a thick skin it was very tough .... every death the skin gets thicker.... the sad thing is I dont hurt as much but I also dont feel as much, my guess is its a natural defense mechanism.... ah to love and feel as a newbie again.... growing old is tough but better than the alternative... bsbd

Take the first sentence and stop there.

My first funeral attendance was for a buddy of mine that died in a car accident when I was 17. One of the inspirations for my muppet tat.

for the smartass comment...

I wish I'd would've known about funeral services sooner... There's always free food after the service.

I can't comment. I don't do well with death or funerals.
Be yourself!

I order tickets early...online. :$

don't buy anything that says vip... it's a ripoff... it's just a way of getting you to pay an extra $50 to get into a special beer tent that no artist will ever go into.

Well, I don't really call that time we caught you trying to smuggle drugs into the event and had to give you the rubber glove up the ol' poop chute the VIP treatment, but whatever makes you happy.:S:D

I bet you go to the butt doctor and tell him you think you have a hemorroid just to trick him into lookin' up yer pooper...:P

I tend to hibernate which is probably bad, but I don't really have many close friends to talk to. Not having many close friends probably comes from my tendency to hibernate. Perhaps a vicious circle?

I've met one friend through dz.com that I feel close to and I can see being there for me, and that is reassuring.

No hibernation allowed. Go do something! :)Like cook for a pretty lady or something.

What a great idea ! ;)
