mamajumps 0 #1 May 18, 2007 I just had the best Ebay experience ever! As like many I have my Ebay horror stories, but I try to move on and use it especially when there is something I want. Well on May 1, I bought an older Javelin with a Triathalon 160 and a Tempo reserve for what I thought was a total bargin. I sent them a certified check for the rig and shipping + Insurance. Well today I get a letter from the sellers wife refunding me the difference between what they quoted me for shipping and what it actually costed. I was floored. Especially since the rig sold for (IMHO) a lot less than it was worth. I just wanted to share a "good" ebay story for once and if any of ya'll know Scott Best (he jumps in Ohio somewhere)..tell him thanks and that I'll buy him a jump if we ever meet up!!! floridadiver81 0 #2 May 18, 2007 I had a really good experiance on ebay when i bought a car(my first ebay motors purchase). Long story short i paid 800 dollars for a 1993 Honda Prelude. He said the motor was blown. For 80 dollars i was fine with that as i coudl easily swap a new motor into it. I pick up and tow the car back to my house...and ended up fixing the "blown motor" by installing a new crank pulley...costing me 60 dollars and about 20 minutes of my time and the car ran extremely smooth after i fixed it. 860 dollars and 20 minutes of my time for a perfectly running car "Age has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge, learning, respect, attitude, or personality." -yardhippie "Fight the air, and the air will kick your ass!!!
