iluvtofly 0 #1 May 19, 2007 So I moved into a new apartment a few weeks ago. I brought both of my cats with me. I kept them inside for the first couple weeks so that they would realize this was their new home. The first two nights I let them out they came home the next morning as usual. However, my one cat hasn't come home in 3 days. I'm starting to get worried. I'm trying to keep in good spirits thinking that he is just out adventuring. Plus, he's chipped so if anyone found him and turned him in to the vet or anything I should have gotten a call. So if you could please just send some vibes that he's just out having a good time I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Attached is a picture of my cats 2 months after I got them. They're a little over 2 years old now.

iluvtofly 0 #3 May 19, 2007 It is possible...I only moved about 10 miles away from my old house. The only problem is that no one is living there this summer. I figure if he's not home by Monday then I'm going to start calling the shelters and vets and see if he might have been brought in.

Some shelters are so overloaded that 3 days is all a cat gets and if not claimed, its off to kitty heaven. Check now so that you don't get bad news later."Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
iluvtofly 0 #5 May 20, 2007 Thanks for the tip. I called all of the vets and humane societies in the area. Unfortunately they're all closed for the weekend so I left messages describing my cat. I went for a drive back to my old place. Turns out there are a couple people I know staying there this summer. They said they would keep an eye out for me. Hopefully I'll hear something soon. matt1215 0 #7 May 20, 2007 Good luck finding your kitty. When my Shadow was still an in/out cat, she disappeared for about a week. I have no idea where she went, but was worried about her. Was out on my porch smoking one evening and here she comes, meowing for food Again, good luck finding your baby
