denete 3 #29 May 24, 2007 Quote Quote As my 4-year-old daughter climbed into her car-seat and sat down yesterday, I said, fasten your chest strap. Then, today when we got to daycare I unhooked her seat harness, looked at her and said, climb out. You didn't say "2 minutes!....EXIT! EXIT!" Actually... We do a minutes-to-arrival countdown (she's at that phase of wanting to know exactly how long it will be until we arrive). She spots the daycare center before we pull into the parking lot. I don't yell DOOR, however. Oh, and I noticed that she gets into the arm straps elbow first and checks for strap twists before "clicking" the chest strap. She laughed this morning at an episode of skydiveradio (on the way to her school) where they mentioned "the worlds longest running boogie". Her mind was on snot, not skydiving. Her name is Amelia. Maybe she'll be a pilot. - DavidSCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)
